Hiking Trails

There are a number of hiking trails in the area around the town. If you are up for hiking and looking for a spectacular view, Vík is a perfect place for you. In the vicinity of Vík you can see the best of Icelandic nature with black beaches, waterfalls, mountains and glaciers.  At the Tourist Information Centre you can get hiking maps and advice regarding interesting spots to visit.
